About Ear Hop
A flappy arcade game where your ear is the controller.
Why Ear Hop exists
Ear training works, but drills feel like homework, and most people stop after a week. A one-tap arcade game is the opposite: you play it again and again without a reason. Ear Hop puts the ear training inside the game. The sound is the obstacle, so you practice for as long as you want to beat your score.
How it teaches
The gaps are in pitch order, so the screen shows the shape of the sound. A wrong answer shows the right one. The questions get harder slowly, one skill per game, so you always play at the edge of what you can hear.
Who makes it
Ear Hop is made by Songtive (Songtive SIA), an independent studio that also makes ChordIQ, Piano Companion, MathIt and KidTeller. The piano sounds are the same Songtive piano that ChordIQ uses.
