Common questions
I hear no sound
Turn up the volume. On iPhone, also check that the side switch is not on silent. Bluetooth headphones can add a small delay; in the Rhythm game wired headphones or the phone speaker work best.
The Singing game does not hear me
Ear Hop needs the microphone for Singing. If you said no, allow it in your phone's settings: on iPhone Settings › Ear Hop › Microphone, on Android Settings › Apps › Ear Hop › Permissions › Microphone. Then sing the note a little louder and hold it.
I bought Ear Hop Plus but I see ads
Open the Ear Hop Plus screen and tap Restore. Use the same Apple ID or Google account that you used to buy it.
When does the game show ads?
Never during a run. Sometimes between two runs when you tap Retry, and a video when you choose to continue a run after a crash. Ear Hop Plus removes the ads.
Sign-in to the leaderboard fails
Check your internet connection and try again. Sign-in uses your Apple ID on iPhone and your Google account on Android. You can play every game without signing in.
How do I change my name on the leaderboard?
Open the world leaderboard and tap your name. A name can have 3 to 50 letters, numbers, dots and underscores.
How do I delete my account?
See Delete your account. You can also delete the game's data from your phone: delete the app.
How do I change the note names?
On the start screen, tap the settings button at the top left and choose your note names: C D E, Do Re Mi, German, Japanese, Korean or numbers.
